Catalyst SMP is a delayed catalyst for low density sponge or molding, it can increase foam hardness, especially suitable for use in sponges with density in the range of 6-25kg/kg, and at the same time, it can increase foam hardness by 5-10%;

Since SMP increases the hardness of the sponge, it is economically advantageous to reduce the isocyanate index by about 2 to 3 points if the same hardness is to be maintained;

Both in MC formulations and in formulations with fillers (CaCO3 and melamine) SMP improves the processability of the foam and reduces cracking;

Uses:

SMP is widely used in flexible block foam and heat curing molding, recommended addition: 0.15-0.2 pphp.
