Morpholine was slowly added into ethidium bromide under stirring and cooling, and the reaction temperature was controlled below 70℃. After addition, reflux reaction for 6 hours. After recovering the ethylene bromide, cool and neutralize with 50% sodium hydroxide solution to strong alkaline. Separate the oil layer, the aqueous layer is extracted with ether, the extract is incorporated into the oil layer, the ether is recovered, dried with anhydrous sodium carbonate and fractionated at atmospheric pressure to obtain N-ethyl morpholine.

Applications:

N-Ethylmorpholine is a medium-strength tertiary amine catalyst, which is mainly used as polyester-type polyurethane soft foam catalyst in the polyurethane industry, with good skin-forming properties, and still has a strong catalytic effect on the gel reaction after the foam rises to a high point, so as to make the bubble holes expand to a large extent.

Uses:

200KG/drum Storage: it is recommended to store in dry and cool area with proper ventilation. Store in a cool and dry place, keep the container sealed and avoid contact with oxides. Do not inhale dust and avoid contact with skin and mucous membranes.
